Goofy kid stuff

• D. is on a 2nd Grade YMCA basketball team, the Shooting Quackers. It is the cutest thing. Today was their first game, and this morning he asked me, "If we lose, will we still get to practice?" In fact, the game was an 8-8 tie, with D. getting a steal! (When we first got the schedule of games, he was hoping that they'd be on TV...)

• A few days ago, we were reading a kids' fantasy book, and we came upon an illustration of a new character appearing, with slightly wild hair and a print shirt. D. exclaimed, "I know who that is! That's Bozzo the Clone!"



• He's got this Lego Designer software, which lets you create a Lego model on the computer and then upload it so that you (or in theory others) can buy the necessary pieces as a set. Here is D's first creation, the Oregon Duck mascot. Check out the price.
