Good news and bad

R. was on TV today, as was our lively three-legged friend Molly, and it went quite well. E-mail me if you want to see the video.
Meanwhile, D's dentist wants to fix his broken tooth with a pulpectomy and a stainless steel crown, which seems like quite a deal to put a seven-year-old through. I am so dismayed.
And Oregon has succumbed to the curse of #2*. We had only three more games to go until the national championship, and our QB (the #1 Heisman candidate for the past few weeks) got the game off to his usual spectacular start (including a 40-yard TD run)... but only 3-4 min into the game he resprained his right knee, and everything fell apart. The backup QB was playing while limping, and the star running back apparently got hurt too, and, bleh**.
* ESPN says that five #2 teams have lost to unranked teams this year.
