Mildly ridiculous

First. I go in to the office for the weekly 1:30 p.m. meeting with H. and SB. At 1:28 p.m., SB sends me an e-mail - he's just discovered that H. is in Albuquerque. Oh well.
On to campus, where I go to switch keys and move into the new office that I'm sharing with two women from the old office. You'd think they'd have a system by now where it's a straightforward thing to switch keys, but no, I end up being in two lines, one to request my new key and one to get the refund on the old key's deposit and apply it to the new key. Then I head up to the office with the new key... whoops! They'd just given me back the old key. So I go stand in line some more.
Finally I let myself into the office. My plan is to claim the least desirable of the three desks, since I'll spend far less time in the office than the other two. Surprise! The new office only has two desks. Looks like I get a couch and a shelf instead. I hope the couch is comfortable.
