Reading agenda for Labor Day weekend

Lovely, sunny day today, and I've got time to read outside, but alas, that which must be read consists mostly of articles with titles like "Investing in our children: What we know and don't know about the costs and benefits of early childhood interventions" and "Does Head Start make a difference?".
It's funny that I was looking up things in a mythological bestiary yesterday, because today I received from my sister a copy of Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, a companion to the Harry Potter series. It's got "margin notes" by Harry and his friends.
So I want to read that, too, and I've started The Magic Engineer (the third Recluce book, although I did just read the fourth), and I also want to get going on the famous book about field theory by Kurt Lewin.
