Persuasion, by Jane Austen. It was great to reread this. I remember reading in a book about the Austen novels that Persuasion is special because Anne Elliot has a rich inner life and an awareness of her body, which is something Elizabeth Bennet never gets to have. It’s fun to reread it, too, because the reader can notice what Wentworth’s feelings are, all along. And that letter! What a letter writer!

I haven't read any Austen for years, but it's just occurred to me that they'd be good to listen to as audiobooks. I've reserved Persuasion from the library.
