Let's see. D went to dinner with his dad to celebrate the latter's birthday, which had been on Tuesday. I then went for a walk, though it was raining and dark, which turned out great, for two reasons. First, my umbrella blocked the excessive light from the streetlights, and second, I was the only person doing it, which made the neighborhood feel quite safe. I then spend the rest of the evening reading, joined by J when he returned from sword class, where he had injured his thumb.
