A very nice Wednesday

Today after getting some work done, we celebrated J's promotion by having food delivered. My fish tacos were better than I remembered, and I was quite happy with them. Also we got to resume watching Babylon 5 - the person showing them had been on vacation in Scotland but has now returned. We've just started season two. Then J and I went on a walk in the dark (it didn't rain today), and after that I started reading the fun book about Jane Austen I'd mentioned recently. I had never given any thought at all to her mother's background, so it was interesting to learn that she came from a very educated and witty family with several writers.

I have pretty much finished the second draft of my book! Now all I need to do is consider how I want to revise the little summary that I'm describing as my "cover blurb," but it will also be useful for emails to publishers. I could read the draft again too, but I've read it so much already...
