Excitement!

As you may remember from yesterday's drama, D and DG both made the top 32 in their Magic event, and J was starting over. DG lost in the first round of today's play, but D made it to the finals! J had a break in his own playing and was able to watch what was happening and to send me instant messages. D had won the first out of three games then lost the second. The third game - he won! He now has an invite to the Magic Pro Tour! This will be his very first time. J has gotten to play in the pro tour three times, and DG is likely feeling pretty frustrated with himself for coming close again and still not qualifying. Thanks to J's communications, I was able to send D some congratulatory texts immediately after, and I got to share in his excitement!
