Weather...

The guys are headed to Chicago on Thursday for another weekend of Magic competition. DG has been there since Monday, and they'll all be staying in the same hotel, about a mile from the convention center and on the edge of Chinatown - which would normally be great! But it is super cold there right now. The forecast says it will be about 18F when they arrive, getting down to 7F that night, and over the course of the weekend it might finally rise above freezing as they head back to the airport. The winds will be blowing 7-15 mph the whole time.

D's wardrobe is not prepared for this at all. We coaxed him into going coat-shopping today, and he ended up with what he described as a "jacket" - I guess we'll see how he feels once he's there. (We expect upper 50s here in Eugene - I'll be perfectly comfortable aside from the 2" of rain we may get on Saturday and Sunday.)
