Day 795: Quarantine life
May. 22nd, 2022 11:58 pmWe are all still in quarantine. J and I aren't required to be, since our COVID tests were negative, but since we're sick it seems like the right thing to do. But, I mean, it's like having a very minor cold plus tiredness for us - and we are so thankful for the vaccine!
D's still full-fledged sick, lots of coughing, sore throat, etc. He is not having fun at all, but at least his head is clear, as he doesn't have much of a fever, if any. Yesterday S. (who also has it) brought him some of his favorite Hawaiian food, which she'd had delivered. Today the sore throat medicine I'd ordered from Amazon on Friday night arrived for him.
J. and I did lots of small household tasks today, and we read outside a while too. Ambrose is particularly happy that we like to spend time outdoors in warm weather. He loves to run and jump up into any available lap! And then he loves to be brushed:
