Day 82: 1000 Steps... to the Southeast!
Jun. 4th, 2020 11:55 pmYes, I kept going. Today's photo was inspired by
heleninwales, who went to her nearby woods, so I did that too.

To get there, there's a grassy gap between two houses, and you just walk through that until a path appears up a little wooded hill. Here's the view of that grassy gap from the sidewalk, with Spencer Butte in the background:

At the top of the hill are some mossy stones that are nice for sitting on, but I found a young couple chatting there so didn't photograph them. And once I'd gone 1000 steps, rather than return the way I came and bother them some more, I kept going along the path, which emerges near H's house at the top of Hilyard St.
( Lots of Bonus Photos, including a surprise! )
