Black History Month reading
Mar. 2nd, 2020 11:44 pmI did okay... better than last year. Not dazzling. I did learn more about African American history, though, which is much of the point. I read the book about Reconstruction, the Butler novel, the first book about Binti, and the detective story. I also read the first 200 pages of Samuel Delany's Dhalgren, which is a classic but not also tremendously rewarding to read. Since there are still another 600 pages to go, it's increasingly likely that I won't finish it in the foreseeable future.
