Two years ago I decided to read African American / African Diaspora authors during Black History Month (February), and this year I'm hoping to get more read than I did the other two years. Hm, for example, last year I read The Autobiography of Malcolm X during February, and one Jasmine Guillory novel and Michalle Obama's Becoming during the rest of the year. (I'll be reading others in February, too, though, e.g., for book club and the next Gamache mysteries.)
