Tax day and Mrs. Dalloway
Apr. 15th, 2018 10:15 pmMy only achievement today, really, was to get my tax forms filled out. They're not due until Tuesday, so I'll wait 'til tomorrow for the signing and copying and mailing bit.
I also helped D. with a school assignment, which was to create a Wordpress blog as if he were the title character in Mrs. Dalloway, a book he read for school and did not enjoy, and then to post comments on the blog from the book's other characters. He thought he would have to create e-mail accounts for each of the characters, but that's much harder to do these days than it used to be. Eventually I helped him find that he could just create all the identities as linked to a single Wordpress account; he just had to give up on his plan to use different icons for each (too bad). He could have installed a plugin, but it didn't seem worth it.
