A new season
Jan. 8th, 2018 11:56 pmTonight the Youth Symphony got their first look at some of the music for the spring season. My favorite bit of Beethoven, the "Egmont Overture," and everyone's favorite Smetana, "Die Moldau" - also something minimalist by a composer I'd never heard of, Nelhybel. I think they're also going to do some Rossini and some Mendelssohn, along with whatever it is the concerto player has chosen. Always fun!
