"Sick" day
Aug. 4th, 2017 08:38 pmI didn't sleep as well as I'd have liked, and I was worn out and spacy today, and I wasn't getting anything done, so eventually I decided to consider it a sick day. The urgent care people are pretty flaky with following up on things, so I still don't know if my bone is actually broken, and it probably doesn't matter, but I can't walk well.
So... I watched this week's episode of Younger, and two and a half episodes of Journeys in Japan (temple gardens of Nara and the fusion cuisines of Nagasaki). I finished this month's book club book, Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin, but I don't recommend it - not terrible, but not worth the time I spent on it. I watched a Hallmark mystery movie, in which Aurora Teagarden and her boyfriend took care of a baby. (When I say that was more worthwhile than the book club book, that's really saying something about the book club book.) And at this point I'll probably do some more reading, or maybe I'll hobble my way outside and water the plants.
