Catching up - garden edition

Although it's now July, I still have hopes of catching up - a bit - on this year's gardening. Yesterday I cleared out a bunch of blackberry vines on one side of my favorite climbing rose, and today we bought a bunch of annuals, which I started to plant in the planter boxes. Even though every day lately has been in the 80s, around 8 pm it gets cool enough to work in the yard while it's still light out.

Today was particularly satisfying because I also wrote a new outline for paper #2. If I can get this one done soon, then I'll finally have more time to use as I choose!
