And May is complete

I got precious little done today, but it was good. I went to PBM's dissertation defense, which took more than two hours. Then I came home and we worked on improving our internet connection by removing two branches from a big-leaf maple that had sprouted up next to the house and was probably interfering with the cable as it arrived at the roof area. D. did great at sawing nearly over his head. Then I went to a social event at McMenamin's for PBM, then left after 20 minutes so I could rush home and transport D. to his concert, but he was still in the shower and we were 15 minutes late. Between dropping him off and going into the concert myself, I went back to PBM's event for 10 minutes or so. Then, the concert. Neither J. nor R. had come, but I sat with Charlie's dad and chatted with him a bit. Most of the concert was tedious, but as it was the spring concert, the graduating seniors got to be wacky. Then, home and some relaxation. J's going to be gone tomorrow evening and most or all of Saturday, so I should be able to get a bunch done.
