Audition-meister(ess)

I helped out at the Youth Orchestras audition today, as I did last year, and as I will tomorrow and on Monday. It's fun, really - I sit at the desk and check in the young musicians as they arrive, and help the others keep track of who's who to get them into the practice rooms and audition rooms in an orderly way. Some of the parents are quite interesting to talk with, too. Today I chatted a bit with D's Japanese teacher, and a woman who's a professor of Russian history, and her daughter, and a few of the boys.
