What did I do today?

I pulled a few weeds in the back yard.
I went on a futile errand to the other Safeway to try to get the kind of havarti I prefer, and indulged myself with an asada burrito thereafter, from the rather more authentic Mexican restaurant in my part of town.
I ate the burrito while watching Ian Wright of Globetrekker tour Cuba by antiquated train.
I received and read this month's book club book, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, which was definitely worthwhile. I read the first part in my own yard, in the shade of my crippled hemlock, and the next third or so in J's yard for the ambiance of the trickling water, and the rest on my couch with Ajani beside me.
I went for a walk at dusk with J, longer than usual because we're expecting a two-day heat wave that will limit my outdoor exercise.
