D. the diplomat
Apr. 15th, 2016 11:58 pmThis morning D. got all dressed up in a suit and tie, and J. dropped him off at the pavilion building at the county fairgrounds for his school's "Eurasian Conference." This was the culmination of months of work. It's very much like a one-day Model United Nations conference, except with treaties and a point system. D. and five other kids represented Palestine. They went from lowest points at the beginning (250, tied with Afghanistan) to more than 1100 points, so I think they did well. I picked him up with his friend (Ukraine) at 3 p.m., then they spent the rest of the day playing League of Legends in our dining area.
Mars is as bright tonight as I've ever seen it, remarkably so. See me remarking upon it? I know my icon is for a lunar eclipse, but it's the closest to Mars that I have among my current icons.
