Winter concert, et cetera
Mar. 8th, 2016 11:49 pmTonight was the winter concert for the choir, strings, and wind ensemble at D’s school. My friend C’s son is in the choir, and D’s friend M is the pianist for the choir, and of course D. plays clarinet in the wind ensemble. The school concerts can be a bit tedious, but tonight I had more fun than expected, beginning with a conversation with M’s dad about William Hogarth the 18th century engraver, then I sat with C. and got caught up on her teaching degree progress and her kids.
J. has the sore throat that I got yesterday – I hope it won’t mess up his trip to Baltimore and DC this weekend.
