Jessica?!?!?
Feb. 11th, 2016 10:21 pmWhen I was 20, I got a job at a remainder book company in Berkeley, and I soon became friends with Beki, a very "Berkeley" woman who started right after I did. I considered her my best friend in Berkeley, and I was very fond of her daughter Jessica, who was 4 when I first met her. Within a few years Beki and had I drifted apart, but several years ago I tracked her down online and reconnected with her, a few years before she died from lung cancer.
Jessica, she told me, had become an artist, a body painter. So when GSN started its series Skin Wars, a body painting competition, I had a fanciful hope that Jessica would be on the show. But she wasn't, and I pretty much forgot about my wild dream... until today, when I saw a commercial for Skin Wars season 3, which will start in April. Given that I haven't seen Jessica since she was 10, one of this season's artists looked uncannily like her, or rather, like Beki.
It could really be her! Could it? Maybe not. Probably not? But I can hardly wait!!!
