Finding a podiatrist for D. was a strange experience. It seems that either they’re sitting around their office waiting for someone to show up, or they’re sitting at home waiting for someone to call so they can justify opening up their office. The one who did go to work was running a distractingly casual practice. D. and I were both cracking up in the car, but I also worry a bit about the guy’s competence to do the minor surgery we scheduled for Wednesday.
Meanwhile... I’m still all energized from this weekend’s Tiptree symposium, and this is “concert week” where I hope to maintain the energy for all three I’m scheduled to see, and we’re excited about J’s new TV and his new “two monitor” lifestyle, and we’re busy planning for J’s birthday party weekend, and D. is bummed because his computer is clearly inadequate for the four-year-old game he bought from Steam and wants to play.
