Sanderson, not symphony
Dec. 3rd, 2015 11:44 pmI could so easily have gone to the Eugene Symphony today, but my cough is persisting, and I wasn’t all that interested in what they’re doing, except that during the last piece, they were planning to surprise the audience by bringing 11 members of the Youth Symphony on stage to join them. That’s why I was there – Holly the executive director of the Youth Symphony had set up a table for us in the lobby before the performance, and I went to keep her company. Anyway, she had a free ticket I could have used, but instead I came home and reviewed a couple of manuscripts (one of which was far and away the worst I’d ever been sent), and finished The Rosie Effect while J. finished
mistborn’s Shadows of Self. Right after that, he discovered that
mistborn himself was hanging out in LSV’s Magic stream, so we had fun watching and participating in that for a while too.
