“Urinetown”

The school musical – an award-winning satire. Our neighbors’ son played Officer Lockstock, which seemed like the best role, with the wittiest lines and lots of swaggering about. Our friend S. was in the chorus. I sat with D. and J. of course, but four of my book club friends also attended. There are nine performances; I think this was the middle one, so we didn’t see the parents of any of the kids we knew.
