A change in seasons will do us good

I got drenched this afternoon in just five minutes, dashing from tree to tree between my car and the library when a sudden rain shower surprised us all. Outside the library, I overheard several times: “This is what you wanted!”

I dried my arms and hair in the bathroom with paper towels, but it took more than half an hour before my blouse was dry as well. By then, the rain was long gone and we were cozily eating hot food in the Cornucopia restaurant. I do love burgers, and I virtuously hadn’t had fries in nearly an entire year! Theirs were delicious.
