Berry-farming

Now we’re propagating strawberry plants. Each of J’s 20 original plants is producing multiple runners, and each runner is putting out roots from multiple locations. If every incipient plant survived, there could be upwards of 300 strawberry plants next year. We potted up a few of them, and now it’s helpfully raining. The amazing thing is that each of the several varieties of berry plants is still producing good fruit, here at the beginning of September!
