Free to a good home

Today I finally found someone to whom I could give my mom’s copies of The Autobiography of Henry VIII and In a Dark Wood Wandering. My book-club friend and neighbor R. mentioned that she loves Tudor England and the intricacies of Tudor royalty, and there we go. The other book is set a bit earlier and mostly French, but it’s a fine book, and I bet she’ll like it more than my mom did. Her Anglophilia was pretty well complemented by her Francophobia.
