Par-tay

D's Magic birthday party was a success! This time we invited five of his friends, plus J. of course, and S's mom, since she plays with us all the time. One of the friends arrived an hour late, so I lent him the deck I'd just drafted to play. (Much more relaxing for me that way -- drafting the deck is more fun than playing...) Three of the boys hadn't played with us before, including the one who spent all afternoon at our house yesterday getting a crash course in the game; I think they all had fun.

We had an oreo ice cream cake, then later we had double chocolate brownies with peanut butter chips. D's best friend DH won the tournament (altogether unexpected!), then they all started playing Hearthstone on their phones, and some of them played Sega games on the Playstation.
