Sneezy

D. and I both woke up sick with colds today, enough that we each went back to bed for a while. I was supposed to work a five-hour shift at the Youth Symphony auditions this afternoon, but I lucked out -- the clarinet judge had called up asking if she could help today, so I got to stay home, and I napped.

My achievements for the day:

• I addressed the problem of D's audition that's scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. What if he's too congested? I suspected the official website-posted policy of "sick kids can wait until fall" might not apply to the woodwinds, so I asked about that, and I was correct. Now we have a backup plan, though it's not ideal.
  
  
• D. and I watched all of the videos someone posted of their concert last weekend.
  
  
• I read the third and final Princess Academy book, The Forgotten Sisters. It was a good one.
