Getting to know Kate Brown

So, we're to have a new governor. Ours, respected and admired for three terms, has compromised himself in the fourth. Our incoming governor is a woman, more liberal than the liberal incumbent, and a proud bisexual. I hope she'll do more for school funding than the one we have now.

Meanwhile, I'm in the middle of one of those multi-day migraines, and worried that it could keep me from the Asian Celebration, one of my favorite local events, tomorrow and Sunday.
