Blah de blah, sick day number... 11?
Sep. 3rd, 2014 10:26 pmToday was D’s first day of high school classes. He has numerous friends in band but doesn’t know many people in his other classes, though his female friend S. is in Japanese. He especially liked the biology teacher (female), who is seriously into board games. We spent the evening grilling him on the Greek gods, for honors English. I didn’t get much information yet about his Global Studies class.
I am sure looking forward to feeling better. We’ve now postponed J’s housewarming party. Today I had a long phone conversation with our website subcontractor, which was tiring, as she speaks quickly, and I reread more of Rose Cottage, one of the less exciting novels by Mary Stewart. (Many of her books are thrilling, and one is just plain too violent for me, but a few seem to have been written solely so she could enjoy spending mental time in a particular atmosphere.)
