Bye bye, lawn maze

It’s been 90-ish every day for a while, and likely to continue for at least a week or more. This gives me only a half hour or so every day to work in the yard, once it’s cooled off enough for it but before it’s too dark. And most days I’m busy then anyway. Today, though, I finally mowed down most of the lawn “maze” that we made in the spring. Tomorrow, the rest? I confess, it’s been nice to have an excuse not to mow that big lawn all summer, but it would also be nice to be able to walk around freely back there.
