Saturday this-and-that

• Salli Richardson-Whitfield (from my Eureka icon) was on Castle this week! She was Capt. Gates’s sister. Nice to have a scene, too, with four high-powered professional women in the room together, vastly outnumbering the man, and _acing_ the Bechdel test.
  
• I started reading what looks to be a really interesting biography of Paracelsus. I’m looking forward to learning more about pre-Enlightenment science/magic.
  
• How did I injure my wrist, anyway? Maybe I just slept with my hand in a really strange position last night.
  
• I visited my office to investigate the scent situation – I think it’s localized to my end of the building, and I now suspect that maybe someone’s dog had an accident and its owner tried to clean the carpet. Good old “pets at work” policy.
