Weather = great!
Mar. 24th, 2014 08:54 pmToday it got up to 72̊! Yay! I went for a short campus walk with J. before renewing a big bag of UO books, and later I did some more weeding and actually got overly warm.
I’ve cancelled tomorrow’s project meeting (as PI, I can do that, awesome power!), and I’m going to keep working on my backlog of manuscripts.
For posterity, I’m going to record here that D’s finish in Friday Night Magic was his best yet: 3rd out of 57.
I even wrote a bit of fiction last night, inspired by all those conversations with D’s team of mentors. Only four paragraphs and it was very self-indulgent, but why not? I’m the only one likely to ever read it, so I can just write whatever pleases me. Garden flowers and conifer forests and mossy stone bridges over shaded creeks.
