Those “goals” from last Tuesday

I’m going to stretch things and call tomorrow part of “Labor Day Weekend” also, since I’m not planning to go to the office, and since J’s still off on his trip back east. I made pretty good progress on the newspapers, but none at all on the fridge or interviews. Still, I’m quite pleased about the newspapers.

David is majorly geeking out about the Magic deck he wants to build when the new set comes out in a few weeks. He wants to make a mono-red “burn” deck, featuring the new god of the forge, Purphoros. The new set is heavily influenced by ancient Greece. I haven’t started looking at the new cards, myself, except for an Italian mock-up of Purphoros that D. showed me. Thanks to all the cognates, I was able to read all of the text on it, go me.
