Kitty update
Aug. 7th, 2013 06:05 pmLillian continues to be in remission, with the vet unable to find the mass in her stomach any more. She has two more chemo treatments, which means we’ll be done in a month, then she’ll switch to checkups every two months. The veterinary assistant who does her treatments continues to see her as a “miracle kitty,” because she really wasn’t expected to last more than a week or two when we started (and it’s now been well over five months).
And... she continues to have a great appetite, which is probably what’s kept her going. Just now she jumped down from her “throne” by the door to go and lap at her “turkey giblets and gravy” or whatever it is that she currently eats. She’s not the liveliest cat, but she’s happy and cuddly and interested in things, and basically normal, for her.
