- Cat chemo cycle #3 is complete. One more cycle (= 4 treatments, 8 weeks) to go. The vet still can’t find the lump any more.
- For lunch we went to the boat landing near where I lived as a teenager, ate a picnic, then walked down to the water’s edge and poked our fingers in the river.
- The non-cog/neuro part of the psych department has moved into the building where my ORI office was for nearly 20 years, before our recent move to the other side of the millrace. Today I visited G. there and we had fun comparing who’s in the various offices now with who used to be there. In a year and a half they’ll move back to their old building, after it’s been renovated.
- For dinner we went to the neighborhood Thai restaurant, which has added a few interesting new things to the menu (I had sesame lime chicken).
- American Ninja Warrior has returned, and finally a woman has made it past the qualifying round. It’s surprising how much fun it can be to watch a show like that.
- D. got to work at “Jedi Academy” today, as part of his counselor-in-training program. One little boy named Gabriel had a cute round face and cute round cheeks. D. was so worn out tonight that he couldn’t listen to the book we’re currently reading (the third in the Belgariad), and admitted to this after five pages. “Kids are exhausting. Was I exhausting?”
