Bedtime books

D. and I finished Matilda and have moved on to The Twits, since more Roald Dahl books sound more appealing to him than our other options, which are primarily Pratchett’s Dodger, the first of the Amber books, and the first book in the Belgariad. We started Dodger once but found it not in the least compelling – people mucking about in the grimy wet streets of Victorian London. Maybe I should start reading reviews of it to get more motivated.
