Hrmph

My plan for D’s time with his dad this evening was to watch either Game of Thrones or the Perry Mason in Hawaii episode that I’d never seen and that I’d been saving on the DVR since the 15th. J. wasn’t ready to do the former, so I tried the latter... only to discover that instead of the advertised show, it was really an episode of that old cheesy, soapy Murder, She Wrote.

I ended up watching it... Genie Francis (Mrs. Jonathan Frakes) was engaged to a guy forced to be a drag queen, played by the guy who also played the aspiring actor on Taxi, and there was also Dick Gauthier (whom I remember from game shows), Martin Landau (from the old Mission: Impossible show and Space: 1999), and our villain, the guy who starred in Welcome Back, Kotter. It could have been worse.
