Minus and plus
Mar. 11th, 2013 07:56 pmWell, I was much too casual about getting my tickets for the Dalai Lama’s May visit, which went on sale today. I figured with 20,000 of them, which is 10% of our “metropolitan” area’s population, it wouldn’t be that urgent, so I was going to walk over to the box office after our lunch meeting. Good thing I checked with my friend Z. first. She’d been in line when the box office opened at 10 a.m., and she was still in line when it closed at 10:10 a.m. Too bad.
Today was really warm (upper 60s), and daffodils are blooming all over the place. Spring!
I have gamers on either side of me. D’s playing Realm of the Mad God, and J’s playing ZAngband, both games where “death” actually ends the character. D’s in a snake pit, and J’s avoiding seahorses.
