Labor Day 2012
Sep. 3rd, 2012 11:15 pm- Oodles of errands at break-neck pace.
- Unwinding in the garden with The Limpopo Academy of Private Detection.
- Barbecue! Jamaican-style chicken, spicy rice, strawberries, chips. Note to self: Labor Day is too late in the summer bug-wise for eating outside.
- A bit of Magic (D. has just become a passionate fiend – he had J. buy him a few packs today and one of them contained a foil Planeswalker, of all things, worth like $35 and uber-powerful).
- A late evening walk, with the very bright waning moon rising above the hills to the east, a chittering bat overhead by T’s house, constellations I don’t remember noticing before (esp. Sagittarius), and a young deer grazing not quite silently on some curbside grass.
