Leaving Dystopia

Last night, we finished reading Mockingjay. It was a very wrenching conclusion – D. is not a fan of “bittersweet” – and it was too hard for him to go to sleep afterwards. The best remedy seemed to be to put his focus into a completely different world, one that’s more comfortable, with ironic distance, so we got out How to Train Your Dragon, and he spent some time with that then slept fine. Next we’ll return to the Asprin Myth books for some humor.

In Mockingjay, I appreciated the naming of Dr. Aurelius.
