Monday highlights
Dec. 27th, 2010 10:52 pmWe watched the first Eureka episode with our spaghetti dinner. D. either remembered a fair amount subconsciously or was a good plot-anticipator. Then, after feeding Kermit and enjoying the sounds of the storm in his (south university) neighborhood, I went for a walk in ours. The rain wasn’t very hard, nor the winds, really, except up in the tree-tops, where it made the kind of sounds that automatically make you feel cozy, even if you’re actually a bit cold and damp.
D. and I did some madlibs at his bedtime. “Even three-year-olds know how to wrestle a computer or a bunny processor.”
Soon I’m going to read more of the third Five Hundred Kingdoms novel (M. Lackey). These are always fun.
