We're trying to get D's room into shape, finally, for sleepovers. It is, and has always been, such a mess in there. We're making real progress, though. Today I excavated some in the garage, to wrestle out B's old dresser. (It's like the layers of Troy, but horizontally - one starts with a door and peels away random debris 'til one reaches the desired depth.)
This dresser is white with red knobs, and covered with Ghostbuster stickers; I told D. we could paint it any color but black, but I really meant dark blue or green. I didn't think we'd ever use it again, but, flimsy as it is, it's still sturdier than the nicer-looking one D's been trying to use for years.
