Today was a remarkably pretty day!
Apr. 16th, 2009 08:36 pmIt is good to feel better! I did errands, and I mowed two of the lawns (the easy ones).
Me (driving D. home from school): Look how cheerful all the tulips are!
D (craning his neck): Where?
Me (pointing at the front lawn full of them): They're mostly red and yellow.
D: Oh! I thought you said "tubes"!
So then we had a good laugh about all the "cheerful tubes" in the yards near his school.
