Getting better?
Apr. 15th, 2009 09:05 pmDr. G. says it's pretty unlikely I have a new outbreak of shingles (even though I feel just like when I had it a year ago). More likely, he says, is that it's just a new phase of this virus, or possibly it's a different manifestation of migraine. In any case, I'm probably getting better, and it's okay to scratch my head. That's good. It's gratifying to be permitted that little pleasure.
I read Spindle's End by Robin McKinley. Splendid! It's a rather feminist retelling of Sleeping Beauty and quite a bit of fun. I also made it all the way to the library today and have restocked on recreational reading.
Meanwhile, a fir tree was found growing in a guy's lung in Russia, and I've seen it in a news clip. Uhh, gee. I could link to it here, but... I won't.
