Cyclops

Today we watched a "Sci Fi Channel original movie," Cyclops, which is one of the worst movies I've ever seen, but not quite so dreadful as to be very funny. Did you know that the arenas in which Roman gladiators fought were about midway in size between a high school basketball court and my livingroom? And that the spectators - mostly medieval peasant women - numbered about 20-50 at a time, all clustered together near the emperor?

Eric Roberts starred as Tiberius, second and, in this story, last of the Roman emperors. It's sad that he's fallen to this level.
