R. now has both weekend days off, so yesterday we watched football, and today movies. Walk Hard was mildly amusing, nowhere near as funny as Talladega Nights. If you haven't seen Walk the Line and Ray, I would say not to even bother.
On the other hand, I thought the new Journey to the Center of the Earth was really fun. You pretty much have to forget ordinary notions of physics, like distance and acceleration (and of course the entire premise of the movie, but that goes without saying), but I liked it. Probably it's just that Brendan Fraser seems so nice.
